HR Matters is a straight talking independent HR Consultancy that assist you to effectively manage every aspect of the employment relationship, from recruitment, throughout your employees’ lifecycle and ending after they leave your company.

With over 25 years HR Experience across many sectors, we will work with you to find out what you want to achieve and will offer you a range of options to meet your requirements.  We always act with your best interests in mind, providing bespoke solutions that meet your company’s needs, and not “off the shelf” generic advice.

How we work

We provide bespoke solutions in Human Resources to companies that do not employ their own HR professionals and provide specialist support to in house HR teams. We can offer professional skills and expertise to enable tight timescales are achieved in a cost effective manner.

HR Matters will keep you legally compliant without the need to recruit your own specialist and this can significantly reduce the risk of litigation and the engagement of employment lawyers.

The service offered can be tailored to meet your budget and particular requirements. The support provided can be via the telephone, at your premises or a mix of both – whichever works best for you. We are efficient, flexible, accessible and cost efficient.

All projects are fully costed and have a detailed project plan specifying what you are paying for.

Who We Are

HR Matters – the team is led by Isobel Hammond – MCIPD qualified with over 25 years’ experience working in Human Resources.

Exceptionally competent and conscientious with an excellent track record managing the HR Function in a number of companies prior to setting up HR Matters.  With a strong Generalist background focusing on employee relations, restructuring, recruitment, learning  & development and writing policies.  Working closely with Chief Executives and Senior Management, at both a strategic and operational level.

Isobel has worked in a variety of industries including Financial Services, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Publishing, Media, and Credit Insurance.
